Applying the second layer of 9 ounce cloth/epoxy. After that, 4 layers of tape for the chines, stem and transom joints.
Chines on this side of the boat are completed. 3 layers of 6" 24 ounce biaxial tape and one layer of 3 inch 9 ounce tape to top it off. the result looks really nice and should be very tough.
The transom before glassing the joints. 3 layers of 24 ounce biaxial tape and 1 layer of 4 inch cloth tape.
And the stem of the boat before glassing. This area will get 4 layers of the same biaxial tape and one later of 4 inch cloth.
After glassing with epoxy, wide masking tape holds the glass down to insure no air gaps. This is a tight bend.
Same for transom joints. Chines didn't need help staying put since they were well rounded off prior to glassing.
