Not alot happening today. The cold weather last nite kept the epoxy from curing all the way so I just flipped the boat over and started preparing the deck framing. Hopefully more tomorrow.
Getting started on the deck beams and framework.
The main beam was made from laminating 3 thicknesses of 1/2 inch meranti.
I finally was able to get all the framing done tonight.....you can tell its dark.
A better day shot of the framework which is now dry and fared out.
The foredeck all glued up and in place but not trimmed....
This job wasn't particularly fun. Now working in the nose section becomes a real chore.
Before Installing this deck, another 5 layers of heavy tape/epoxy was applied to the inside of the stem. I'm hope this will make the nose nearly indistructable.
